Okay, so here's the deal...
I was working in my office today and Genevieve came to me and said, "Momma, do you want me to make you a sandwich?" She had all her little play dishes, utensils and food in a little basket. So, I naturally assume Gev is going to bring me a play sandwich.
Well, SURPRISE, SURPRISE, she comes to me with this sandwich on a plate that she has MADE ALL BY HERSELF! Yes, you are correct when you see bread, cheese, turkey, lettuce (lots of it) and mustard!!! She decided that she wanted to make me soooo proud by surprising me with a REAL ONE. I was in shock and laughed and laughed. I especially laughed when she told me she needed to sample the sandwich before I ate it to make sure it was REALLY GOOD...now THAT is SUPERIOR SERVICE!
You may ask why Genevieve has on a chef hat and apron. We got a set for each of the kids that will attend her birthday party soon. Does it surprise anyone that we are having a LITTLE CHEF PARTY? Maybe I should just let Gev run the whole event.
Since I really don't love to cook, perhaps this could REALLY work to my favor!!! I am going to tell her next time that while a sandwich would be great, a POT ROAST WITH THE WORKS would be lovely too! With a real wink and smile, Gev tells me she will make me whatever I want ANYTIME. Here's to GOOD EATING!
