It was a sad day on Thursday of this week as Adam's best friends Thomas (the second boy from the left) and Paul (the boy on the furthest right) moved to Baltimore. They have been a fairly PERMANENT and WELCOMED fixture around our home. They lived in our neighborhood and have entertained Adam and Genevieve for the past year and a half. We are so sad to see them go, but are thankful for a web-cam and email so that we can keep in touch!!! (The other boy in the photo is our next-door neighbor Ryan.)
When asked about the boys, Adam had this to say (his exact words):
1) I like them very much
2) They are my bestest friends in the whole world
3) I cannot believe they are moving
Adam's FAVORITE memory of the boys is playing water games in the backyard and making a volcano in the sandbox (using the hose to make it erupt with water and mud).
As for my perspective, I will miss having them keep Adam occupied and giving him attention. They were courteous and fun at our home. I think of them as adopted sons. They hope to move back to Utah when their Dad finishes his MBA in a year. WOW, they will be missed!!!
